Chikahan IRC Rules
The Chikahan IRC Network provides rules and guidelines in order
for everyone to have a better experience on our servers.
Access to our Servers is a PRIVILEGE, not a RIGHT.
We reserve the right to deny anyone, at anytime without notice or explanation.
RULES:
- No Flooding/Spamming
- Clients must respond to normal CTCP requests.
- Don't disrupt other users.
- No disruptive BOTS. See below.
- No pornographic/obscene activity.
You may also type /rules while connected to any of our servers.
DISCLAIMER:
IRC IS AN UNMODERATED MEDIUM.
This network, its administrators & staff, takes no
responsibility and explicitly disclaims any liabilities for
the content, structure and purpose of discussions on IRC.
EYEBALLS:
Chikahan does not promote any get-togethers or eyeballs
to prevent unwanted circumstances from happening. Should anyone
choose to do so, that person/s will be solely responsible for their own
actions. Again, Chikahan does not encourage such events.
BOTS/REGISTERED NICKS WITH SCRIPTS:
Bots & scripts are allowed on the servers as long as they do not disrupt others.
Please review your scripts that use registered nicknames but fail to identify
with NickServ. Some scripts continue to loop between the registered nick and
the services enforced nick of "X-USER#" which cause nick change floods. Failure
to correct this may result in the termination of your session or cancellation
of the registered nick.
FORGOT YOUR NICK OR CHANNEL PASSWORD?
Please e-mail services@chikahan.com and state the exact NICK or the name of your
CHANNEL whose password you want retrieved. NICK password will be forwarded via the
email address which you specified during or after your nick registration. In case of a lost
CHANNEL password, the password will be forwarded to its current founder's email
address. Note: All email addresses at which passwords are to be sent are based strictly
from the information recorded on our databases.
* If you think you have supplied our NickServ database with a fictitious or non-existing
email address then please forget about getting prompt help from us with regards to retrieving
and sending back to you your password.
